What is PetFriendly Charter?

At Avianese, we understand that pets aren’t cargo – they’re family. Our pet-friendly private jet charter service is designed for those who want their four-legged companions to travel with them in comfort, safety, and style.

Flying can be unsettling for pets, but a private jet offers a calm, intimate setting where the presence of their owner brings comfort and reassurance – something commercial flights simply can’t provide.

Why should your pets fly with Avianese?

Unlike commercial airlines that require pets to be transported in the cargo hold, we ensure your pet stays right by your side in a climate-controlled, quiet cabin environment.

Whether you’re planning a short getaway, an international relocation, or a vacation with your furry friend, Avianese offers a seamless experience from take off to landing.

Pet Travel in the United Kingdom

Bringing your pet into the UK by private jet requires some specific health and identification checks to ensure a smooth and compliant arrival.
Here’s what your pet must have before entering the UK:

✅ A valid pet passport or official third-country veterinary certificate that confirms your pet’s microchip number and the date it was implanted.

✅ Proof of a rabies vaccination, administered at least 21 days prior to your scheduled arrival.

✅ For dogs: a tapeworm treatment, completed between 24 hours and 5 days before arrival.

✅ Pets must be a minimum of 12 weeks old to fly into the UK.

Important Note: Only original veterinary documents are accepted. Photocopies or scanned versions will be rejected. All paperwork must be submitted in advance and cleared by your operator before your flight departs.

Pet Travel within the European Union

With the UK no longer part of the EU, travelling with pets between the UK and EU requires a few extra steps:

To enter the EU with your pet, you’ll need:

✅ An Animal Health Certificate (AHC) issued within 10 days of departure from the UK. It’s valid for up to four months of onward EU travel but must be renewed each time you leave the UK.

✅ A registered microchip, implanted and verified by a licensed vet.

✅ A valid rabies vaccination — as long as boosters are up to date, no new vaccine is needed for each trip.

✅ For travel to Finland, Ireland, Malta, Norway, or Northern Ireland, dogs must receive tapeworm treatment before entry.

✅ A valid EU pet passport is accepted for travel within the EU or to Northern Ireland. If flying from a non-EU country, you’ll need an EU Animal Health Certificate.

Important Note: Travelling with more than five pets? That’s only permitted if you’re attending a competition, show, or sporting event.

Pet Travel to the United States

When flying to the U.S., pet import rules can vary by state, so it’s essential to plan in advance. If you’re flying from a country like the UK (classified as low-risk for rabies), the following typically applies:

✅ A health certificate from your veterinarian, confirming your pet is fit to fly.

✅ Dogs and cats must be at least 8 weeks old and fully weaned.

✅ If arriving from a high-risk rabies country, proof of rabies vaccination is mandatory.

✅ Pets must appear healthy upon entry and may be subject to inspection.

✅ Compliance with CDC (Centres for Disease Control and Prevention) regulations and individual state-specific requirements is required.

Just like the UK and EU, all documents must be original copies and sent to the operator for clearance prior to flight.
