Why we look for fighters.
One of the things we look for is a practised discipline, and often a martial art. Not for the reason most people assume. A fighter is not hot-headed. The opposite is true.
Learning to fight teaches you to think inside a fight-or-flight response instead of being run by it, to face fear directly and still reason clearly. It builds discipline, and a sober respect for consequence: someone who truly understands a fight knows exactly what can be lost in one, and so avoids it. The people who start conflicts are usually the ones who never learned how.
That is the temperament charter demands. Clear thinking under pressure, calm in the face of risk, and the discipline to do the quiet work properly when no one is watching. A company needs a philosophy. That is ours.
